So I know I haven't blogged in a while, but I'm hoping that you will all enjoy these pictures. We have had a very busy year and I don't get to spend too much time on the computer doing fun stuff!

These first pictures are of Shyla's haircut that she gave to herself. Tony was on nightshift so she is allowed to sleep with me when he is gone. I thought that she was sleeping, but when she got up in the morning I noticed that something didn't look right about her hair. She had gone to bed with her hair in a pony tail and it looked really matted at the top of her head. It also looked like she had bangs....she didn't have bangs when she went to bed. I took her hair tie out and a handful of hair came with it. She had found my hair cutting scissors in my room and too them up both sides of her head at an angle. By doing this, she did miss the hair in the middle of her head so it does hide what she did. I did take her to the salon and had it fixed to straighten it out.

The out come did turn out pretty cute though! She told me that her hair looks like mine now!

Halloween 2009! I turned all these pictures the right way on my computer, but for some strange reason it didn't save them when I loaded them to here, so you will just have to turn your head sideways to look at them!
Brooklynn went as Snow White this year. She has worn the dress several times since then! She had tons of fun trick or treating and going to the Harvest Party.
Tony getting ready to go to work. He was on night shift so he wasn't able to go with us this year.

Shyla went as Thumbelina from the new Barbie movie. She was soooo excited!

Shyla kept talking while I was trying to take pictures. She kept telling me that she was ready to go to the party.

Thats much better! Except that she's sideways...sorry again, just turn your head!

Brooklynn played this game almost ALL night! I had to drag her away to go get something to drink and then she went right back to throwing bean bags! It was absolutely adorable!

The game in the back ground was Daniel and the Lion's Den. Pastor Shaeden was hiding behind it and the kids were supose to reach their hand into the den to get the candy...Shyla and Brooklynn thought it was great but they wouldn't put their hand in it!

Erica, Isabel, Shyla and Brooklynn
They were waiting in line for the costume contest. Brooklynn won first prize for her age group.

She won a unicorn! She still sleeps with it occasionally!

Her break from the games also included a cupcake! She ate the frosting and that was all! Then she went back to the bean bag game of course!
Shyla was too busy running around with her friends to get too many pictures of her. She had a blast and is still talking about it and can hardly wait till next year!

These pictures were taken by my amazing sister, Ambur! We went out to her house and just had lots of fun on her property taken pictures. The girls did as well as a 3 year old and a 2 year old can do. It was really cold so we took the family pics first and then we took the ones of the girls by themselves next. We wanted to get some out in her pasture of all of us, but the girls were too frozen so we will try again in the spring.

I absolutely love this picture of Tony and I! He is the love of my life! We were able to get a lot of great pictures and it was hard to choose just a few!

Time for my balancing act! Please don't drop me!

This is one of the better family pictures. It is really hard to get both girls to look at the camera at the same time and smile!

Brooklynn Elizabeth 2years
I can't believe how big she has gotten this year! She has grown 3inches since July and is very outgoing! She is actually holding her favorite stuffed animal in this picture ( a wolf) but I was trying to crop it a little and accidently saved over the original picture.

Shyla Ryanne 3years (4 in January)
My how time flies! Shyla is amazing! She is the spitting image of me....if you couldn't tell. She even has a lot of my personality, but a lot of Tony's too! She is going through a growing spurt right now so it will be fun to see how much she grows in the next few months!

Ooops! I didn't mean to put this one twice! I forgot how to add pictures and it wouldn't let me delete it either so you get to look at it again! :D

Cats

As many of you know, I have many cats at my house. I thought I would share with you some rather funny things about my cats.

This is Boaz. He was the only boy cat we had and as you can see, he was quite funny. Tony and I had just gotten back from a trip to Elko and I hadn't gotten all the bags picked up, but he was perfectly fine with that! He kept peeking his head out through the handles as if he was saying 'Peek-A-Boo'. Boaz ran away from home a few weeks ago and we miss him greatly, but we will always remember him.

This is China! Now there area few very important things about China that you need to know, especially if you ever cross her path. 1st: Her eyes can't get any bigger than they already are. 2nd: She hates people. 3rd: She is conspiring to kill me. If you do get the rare chance to touch her, she will look at you as if to say, 'Stop touching me. I KILL YOU!' She sometimes follows me around the house when I am cleaning and it really is rather frightening.

This would be Bell. Shyla named her after her favorite Disney Princess at the time. She is one of two sisters that we acquired last fall. She is long, skinny and kinda ugly. Her coloring is very pretty, but she is extremely skinny.

This is Star, Bell's sister. She is just plain ugly and a very strange cat. She runs around the house 'talking' and chattering her teeth together. I think she has a secret stash of catnip somewhere.

This is Boaz again. I just really liked this picture and I really miss him, so I thought I would share it with you. I do have one other very large, fat cat name Cloe, but couldn't find a picture of her. She is black and white and is weighing in around 15pounds of pure fat these days. She does exercise occasionaly, but I always cringe when she does in fear that when she jumps off my counter she will put a hole in my floor. Her favorite past time is eating followed by sleeping....for a very long time. She LOVES when Tony works night shift because she gets to sleep with him during the day. She loves her Tony. She likes to sleep on his lap while he is watching TV, or she lays on the back of the couch and grooms his hair. She is his cat wether he admits it or not!

My how time flies! Shyla is growing like a weed! She loves to do school. She can count to 10, say all her colors and she knows her shapes. We are working on her alphabet now and it won't be long before she can say that too! She loves to talk our ears off and is quite the singer!
I'm not really sure what she was doing here, but she managed to find one of Brooklynn's headbands, put it on, and then it slipped to the top of her head and gave her a very beautiful hair-do. She was laughing extremely hard and so was I!

Our little Princess!

Brooklynn enjoying some cake and ice cream at Shyla's Birthday Party.

Shyla and her Marisa at the party. Shyla loves her cousins very much! She prays for them every night and talks about them constantly!

Shyla fell in love with Marisa's scooter, so we bought her one for her birthday this year. She can hardly wait to take it outside!

Brooklynn is getting so big! She still doesn't talk too much, but she is extremely smart! She can take little toys a part and put them back together. A few weeks ago, she discovered that she can move the dining room chairs and climb on the table! Oh boy! She definately keeps us busy!
Brooky giving a big smile!

She is quite the little character! She definately
takes after her Dad!

Isn't her hat so pretty?!

Where did Brooky go?

There she is!
